”Until a while ago I had a love-hate relationship with my body. I loved my body the moment I was in shape because of very strict dieting and doing a lot of sports. But because I was so strict, I never maintained these periods.
After such a period it turned the other way around. I started binge eating, gained weight and felt miserable. I was always striving towards a body image that did not suit me.
Now I am working hard to strengthening my inner balance and self-love. The image I have of myself also changed. I started to love and respect my body the way it is. Now that I have seen the pictures, I even think my body is beautiful! It’s way more beautiful than how I see myself in the mirror.”
