“After the shoot I felt sexy and proud”

“I never thought that I would do a shoot like this, it is way outside my comfort zone. But I couldn’t let this opportunity go by, so I grabbed my chance to do this with someone I trust. I wanted to overcome my fear to get naked and highlight, in my opinion, the parts of myself that I don’t like. I was hoping to see myself through the eyes of someone else so I would feel more self-love. ~

It succeeded till a certain extent. I have overcome my fear and it is special to see yourself like this. The parts I don’t like about myself I still don’t like that much, but I am more kind towards myself. Prior to the shoot I was nervous about the thought of being naked. I envisioned so many times that I would take of my clothes so when the shoot started I was out of my clothes much sooner than we both thought! 

It was a good experience and it felt almost as a therapy session. Annelies is very professional as a photographer and it made me feel comfortable to go a little bit further every time. She sees your body as an artwork, and it makes you feel beautiful and special. You forget all your worries. I was completely euphoric after the shoot. I felt super sexy and proud. 

The pictures are amazing! During the shoot you hear a lot of clicking but you have no idea what she is capturing. She looks at your body in a different way and because of this the results are surprising. When I saw the pictures, I was a little bit disappointed that I wore underwear at some pictures! If you told me this before the shoot, I wouldn’t believe you!”
